When the time came for Grandmaster Suh, In-hyuk, to co-ordinate the vast knowledge he had acquired about the various aspects of Korean martial arts:
Sado Mu Sool (Village martial arts)
|Bulkyo Mu Sool (Buddhist martial arts)|
|Koong Joong Mu Sool (Royal Court martial arts)|
he created the Kuk Sool WonTM, the "Korean Martial Arts Association"®, in 1961.
To arrange all that he had learned into such a martial art system called for great intellect and an incredible ability to understand all aspects of martial art. In other words, it called for genius, as well as greatness. In the words of another genius, Shakespeare: "... some men are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them" (Twelfth Night, v.158). In the case of Kuk Sa Nim, all three apply!
